An examination of the role that intellectual property plays in graduate and undergraduate research programs.  The positive impact of intellectual property on research has been studied for the last 20 years, since the successful implementation of the Bayh-Dole Act. Learn how this important piece of legislation has changed the face of academia and research, how students and faculty are benefiting by protecting and commercializing their intellectual property, and what you need to know to protect your ideas.
