On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, the Veterans Academic Resource Center (VARC) in cooperation with the UCF Chapters of Student Veterans of America, and SALUTE National Honor's Society will celebrate and honor our graduating student veterans at the Veterans Graduation Recognition Ceremony. This event will take place at the UCF Global, Room 101.
Keynote Speaker for the event is USMC Master Sergent, Sean Osmond ('04 & '16), Marketing Director, Proposal & Business Development Senior Staff at AVT Simulation in Orlando, FL.
The event features "The Coining" where each graduating student veteran is presented with a UCF VARC Challenge Coin as a token of congratulations on their academic achievement.
Family & friends are welcomed to attend this event. There is no charge for the event, but to receive the coin, the graduating student veteran must RSVP & attend.
