Living Shoreline Stabilization
Summer 2019 Events

These stabilization projects are designed to enhance the sustainability and resilience of our coastal waters by increasing the numbers of live oysters, marsh grasses and mangroves.

De Soto National Memorial
August 10  
9 a.m. – noon

August 11
9–11 a.m.

Wear old clothes (you will get wet/muddy).

Wear closed-toe shoes with good soles (old sneakers preferred, no sandals). Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and food.
