See 70+ Student-Made Engineering and Computer Science Innovations

Monday, November 25, 2019 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Don't miss the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science's Fall 2019 Senior Design Showcase, featuring 70+ original inventions and designs created by collaborative teams of graduating seniors, with everything from gesture-recognition drones and basketball-playing robots, to innovative software and a turbocharged boat engine that may be the "world's highest power-to-weight-ratio outboard" that delivers 550+ horsepower yet weighs only 660 lbs (about half the weight of the most powerful engine on the market) -- sure to impress any boating enthusiast.

Many projects solve real-world problems for industry sponsors such as Coca-Cola, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Duke Energy, Orlando Utilities Commission, Florida Hospital, and Siemens. Other projects provide solutions for everyday life, from recreation, gaming and health and wellness, to resource-saving solutions for the home.

The event is free and open to all, and is perfect for anyone who loves innovative ideas and unique, interactive technology and prototypes. It's also a great way for industry partners to meet UCF's brightest rising-star engineers and computer scientists who are prepared to join the global high-tech workforce.

Monday, November 25, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., inside and outside the Engineering II building Harris Engineering Center, on UCF's main campus.
