Brown Bag Lunch with Dr. Kayla Wheeler

Students are invited to join Kayla Renée Wheeler, PhD, Assistant Professor of Area & Global Studies and Digital Studies at Grand Valley State University for a Brown Bag Lunch. 

Dr. Wheeler's research interests include Islam in the Americas, Islam and gender, digital identity, religion and media, material religion, and Black performativity.

She will also give a talk on African-American History: Justice and Islam with Dr. Michael Muhammad Knight as part of the James Weldon Johnson Lecture Series
