Stargazing and Camping

Friday, January 24, 2020 3 p.m. to Saturday, January 25 at 5 p.m.

** PARTICIPANTS CANNOT HAVE FRIDAY AFTERNOON CLASSES **
Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park is the largest remaining stretch of Florida dry prairie. Not only does this location boast excellent birding opportunities, but its remoteness makes it one of Florida's finest spots for stargazing! Join Outdoor Adventure as we sleep under the stars and enjoy a relaxing night spotting constellations and learning how to cook food while camping.

For more information regarding the trip, call 407-823-2408 or stop by the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC).

To register for the trip, please visit the OAC in the Recreation and Wellness Center, room 154. We are located on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center, just past the racquetball courts, down the long hallway, across from the RWC Wet Classroom and Men's locker room entrance to the lap pool. PLEASE NOTE: Once you register for the course, you must attend the pre-trip meeting on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. in the OAC.

Our open hours are:

Monday and Friday - noon to 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
