Join us for a Distinguished Speaker Series in Criminal Justice with Dr. Jennifer Cobbina, author of Hands Up - Don't Shoot and associate professor of criminal justice at Michigan State University.

Cobbina's research focuses on corrections, prisoner reentry and the understanding of recidivism and 'desistance' among recently-released female offenders. She also examines how race, gender and neighborhood context impact victimization risks among minority youth.
