The importance of emotional intelligence in the business, company, and/or organization has emerged in recent years, and the effectiveness of organizations are invariably linked to a leader's attentiveness and practice of emotional intelligence on a consistent basis. As leaders are often the main figure in organizations, leadership style and the level of emotional intelligence will surely influence the capacity of an organization to achieve its mission and identified performance outcomes. This workshop provides a foundational understanding of emotional intelligence, transformative leadership, the interrelationship between these two constructs, and the benefits of diligent effort to inculcate this knowledge as a vital tool for actualizing both individual and organizational success.
