UCF students interested in learning about the field of museum education are invited to join Collin Makamson, Assistant Director of Education for Curriculum at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans for a lunch and learn. 

Makamson holds a MA in history from the University of Southern Mississippi and has worked in museum education for the last 15 years. As a member of the museum’s Media & Education Center, Collin leads a team of four educators in creating on-site, off-site and digital educational opportunities and experiences for secondary teachers and students. He curates the digital-learning project, See You Next Year: High School Yearbooks from WWII. 

Please bring a lunch. Beverages and cookies will be provided.
