Active Shooter Response Training

Tuesday, December 1, 2015 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
While the chances of you being involved in a violent incident are small, it is important to know how to act in the event of an emergency.

UCF Emergency Management and the UCF Police Department are teaming up to offer a series of Shots Fired classes to teach students and faculty and staff members how to think and act quickly in the worse-case scenario.

This is a one-hour class that educates attendees about the UCF Alert emergency notification system and the “Run. Hide. Fight.” method of reacting to an active shooter.

Five classes will be offered between Tuesday, Dec. 1, and Wednesday, Dec. 2.
