UCF College of Medicine first- and second-year students will present their FIRE (Focused Inquiry and Research Experience) projects on Feb. 20-21. Designed to showcase medical student research, the FIRE conference will include poster and oral presentations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 20, followed, from 4 to 5 p.m., by Plenary Speaker Annette Khaled, Ph.D., who leads the College of Medicine's Cancer Research Division. Awards for top research projects will start at 11 a.m. on Feb. 21. The event will be held at the College of Medicine's Medical Education Building, 6850 Lake Nona Blvd., Orlando, 32827
