Webinar | An Expansive Career in Design Hosted by Randy Hunt '05

Thursday, June 11, 2020 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

UCF alumnus Randy J. Hunt ’05 is Head of Design at Grab, where he leads a team of designers, writers, and researchers who create Southeast Asia’s Super App. Through Grab’s broad design practice, the team strives to use design to understand and serve the needs of its customers, while lifting them up. As the former VP of Design at Etsy, Hunt spent nearly 8 years leading their design team, where he learned most of what he knows about scaling a business and leading large teams. In 2014, Etsy was honored with the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for Corporate & Institutional Achievement. Hunt is the author of Product Design for the Web, which explores the evolving discipline of product design for today’s connected world.

On June 11, Hunt will discuss his career path in the design industry, share valuable experience designing for customers around the world, and explore how the industry is evolving when it comes to connecting virtually and during the time of COVID-19. This webinar will be moderated by UCF School of Visual Arts and Design faculty, Jason Burrell and Victor Davila.

Please Register by Tuesday, June 9.
