Join representatives from the UCF Legislative Scholars Program to discuss the 2021 internship.
The program is a full-time internship that places students with state legislative offices, or lobbyist offices in support of the 2021 Florida Legislative Session. Internship begins with training January 11-14, 2021 in Orlando, and continues until the conclusion of the Legislative Session April 30, 2021. Each chosen intern will be assigned to a member of the Legislative Delegation, and will be expected to spend at least two months in Tallahassee (shared apartment provided and rent paid for February 1 to early May), supporting the legislative office, executive staff or lobby office with research, constituent relations, bill tracking, and other duties required in the daily operations of a legislative office during the Session.
