UCF Virtual Commencement Ceremony for College of Nursing Summer Graduates

Saturday, August 1, 2020 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The State University System of Florida has directed UCF and all state universities to develop alternate plans for summer commencement ceremonies. Regrettably, this means we will be unable to host a traditional ceremony for our summer graduates until it is safe to do so.

More than a ceremony, commencement is an important milestone in the lives of our Knights and the loved ones who have supported them throughout their educational journey.

That's why we're inviting our graduating students and their families, friends and faculty members to join us for a series of virtual commencement ceremonies on Saturday, August 1. We will be hosting college ceremonies throughout the day on UCF's Facebook and YouTube pages. Please join us live to comment, share and cheer on our graduates. All ceremonies will be archived on our YouTube page afterward.

UCF alumnus and top Disney executive George Kalogridis ‘76 will deliver a special commencement speech to kick off each ceremony, followed by a reading of graduates' names from each college.

Students interested in providing the phonetic pronunciation of their name for the ceremony can do so by clicking here. While we cannot guarantee correct pronunciation, we will make every effort to do so. Please provide your pronunciation no later than Monday, July 13, 2020.

We will be rescheduling our in-person Summer ceremonies when it is safe to do so. Information will be shared with the campus community via email and posted on social media.

We look forward to celebrating with you on August 1 and appreciate your flexibility during this extraordinary time. Charge On!

Please be aware that all information found on this site regarding the UCF Commencement Ceremony is tentative and will be subject to change as the date approaches.
