Ed. Chats at UCF: Building School Community in the Age of COVID-19

Wednesday, August 5, 2020 noon to 12:30 p.m.

This webinar is part of the Ed. Chats series — informative sessions for educators, school counselors, school administrators, district personnel and higher education faculty — sponsored by the Teacher Quality Partnership and UCF's College of Community Innovation and Education.

Building and maintaining a strong sense of school community can be challenging on a regular day, let alone during a pandemic. During times such as these, however, creating meaningful relationships and using these relationships as a means of support can be critically important. Consequently, this talk will discuss important concepts and ideas meant to help facilitate school community building and the fostering of secure relationships during times of crisis.

Presentation by Dr. Kimberly Renk.

This webinar is free of charge. Advanced registration required.
