You Can't Pour from an Empty Cup: Self-Care in the Workplace

Self-care is an important topic that has been discussed widely in Higher Education since the beginning of the pandemic. Many of these resources are geared towards taking care of our students or those around us, but what about ourselves? Taking care of our emotional health has become important more than ever as we continue to navigate the complexities of COVID-19 and the transition back to campus. Join the Advisor Training and Development team along with campus partners as we discuss topics including stress management, anxiety, emotional burnout, and feelings of isolation due to continued social distancing. Tips on practicing self-care in the workplace will be discussed including mindfulness, meditation, and maintaining supportive connections.
