The SPA Reading Circle continues! Over a series of three meetings, we'll explore the 1619 Project, a Pulitzer Prize-winning series of essays in the New York Times Magazine tracing the lasting effects of slavery on American society.

The first session will discuss the essays by Hannah-Jones, Desmond, and Villarosa (the first three in the series).
