October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and UCF Victim Services will be hosting an Intimate Partner Abuse Educational Workshop Series. Every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in October we will be hosting educational workshops via zoom that will focus on topics related to intimate partner abuse and how it can affect students, faculty and staff at UCF. Each series will have a panel of professionals doing a Q and A followed by a scenario discussion on the topic of that week.
The second workshop of the series, Close to Home on Wednesday October 14 at 3:00 p.m., focuses on domestic abuse and how it can affect an employee's life. The workshop will have panelists from UCF Victim Services, Victim Service Center, and UCF Human Resources.
