How Solar PPAs Can Impact Florida

Wednesday, October 14, 2020 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Purchase Power Agreements can allow businesses, governments, and non-profits to benefit from solar energy. They are legal in most states including Georgia, Texas, Arkansas, and Arizona. However, they are not yet legalized in Florida.

Join Kelly Stevens, assistant professor at the University of Central Florida, and Gilbert Michaud, assistant professor at Ohio State University, as they discuss the economic and environmental impact of legalizing Power Purchase Agreements in Florida. They will share results from a new report they authored. It examines the impact of legalizing PPAs for non-profit organizations and municipalities.

Registration is required to attend.
