Coffee w/ a Professor featuring President Alexander Cartwright

Tuesday, October 27, 2020 11 a.m. to noon

Let's chat at the next Coffee with a Professor! Coffee with a Professor is an engaging social hour offered within the School of Public Administration. Usually we meet at an on-campus coffee shop, but due to COVID-19, we're going virtual!

Grab your favorite beverage at home and join Associate Professor Staci Zavattaro as she hosts Dr. Cartwright, UCF's president. Prior to joining UCF, Dr. Cartwright served as the chancellor of the University of Missouri with an appointment as a professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Department at the MU College of Engineering. As a first-generation college student whose journey to higher education was not traditional, Dr. Cartwright understands and prioritizes the need to build successful outcomes for students from all backgrounds, and is dedicated to diversity, inclusion and equity on campus.

He is excited for this opportunity to speak with students, particularly those representing UCF's downtown campus. Coffee with a Professor is a unique opportunity to engage with faculty, and in this case, the university's president, to share your experiences, ask questions, and just talk!

Registration is required.
