Symposium: Life and Death in Pompeii - Engage in a lively presentation and discussion about life and death in Pompeii. Historians of art, archaeology, and classical languages and literature, will present their research as it relates to Pompeii. UCF Associate Professor of Art History, Ilenia Colón MendozaPh.D., will moderate the symposium and Q&A discussion that will follow each presentation. Learn More

This symposium is in partnership with the Orlando Science Center, Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs and their tourism partners to support the blockbuster exhibit Pompeii: The Immortal City, on view from October 26, 2020 - January 24, 2021.
