This presentation aims to provide an overview of intimate partner violence (IPV) and ways it might specifically present within the trans population. Participants will learn factors that make leaving an abusive partner challenging for a victim/survivor. Participants will also learn how cultural changes and the coronavirus pandemic may increase risk of IPV and exacerbate difficulty of leaving an abusive partner especially for trans individuals.
