UCF Global Perspectives and International Initiatives in partnership with the US Association of Former Members of Congress, bring you Former Congressmen Bob Etheridge and John Mica. They will discuss the recent election, presidential transitions, and prospects for bipartisan cooperation in 2021. They will also discuss the congressional role in foreign policy and trade. The two will base their comments on their extensive work in the House of Representatives.

Etheridge, who represented North Carolina (1997-2011) served on the House Agriculture, Budget, Homeland Security, and Ways & Means Committees. Mica represented a Central Florida-based district which included UCF (1983-2017). He was Chairman of the Transportations & Infrastructure Committee, and also served on the Oversight & Government Reform Committee.
