Human Trafficking Awareness Month "Lunch and Learn" Series: Prevention and Demand Reduction (Series event 3 of 3)

Tuesday, February 2, 2021 noon to 1 p.m.

This series will focus on sex trafficking. Discussions will take participants from an emerging area of risk - social media - through activities designed to reduce the likelihood of being trafficked and reducing demand for trafficked persons to programs that offer hope for persons recovered from trafficking experiences. This session specifically focuses on efforts to prevent recruitment of victims, as well as programs designed to reduce the demand for services of trafficked persons. Special guest speakers include: Ms. Kathrine Gomez from the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, and Dr. Roberto H. Potter, the Director of the HTMS Center at UCF.
