Join us for Using Dialogic Reading to Promote Emergent Literacy and SEL, as part of UCF's Literacy Symposium Express series. 

To support the needs of PreK-12 educators during this unprecedented time, the UCF Literacy Symposium is offering an Express virtual event on Literacy Engagement and Socio-Emotional Learning for educators, parents, literacy friends, and advocates. This series of timely, live, interactive, and professional learning sessions will be offered virtually each month for free to registered participants.

Session Description: The presentation will demonstrate how teachers and parents can use dialogic reading with books containing social-emotional content to engage in conversations with children that will develop and foster literacy and prosocial skills. (Audience: Grades PreK-2)
