Chinese New Year

Thursday, February 25, 2021 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, marks the beginning of the lunar calendar which many Asian cultures and societies follow, making it one of the largest celebrations for many Asian cultures. The holiday is meant to not only welcome the new year but usher in hope, prosperity and good fortune while leaving negativity and misfortune behind. The new year also follows a cycle of 12 zodiacs with this year being the Year of the Ox, promising fortitude and strength in the coming year.
This year, MSC is partnering with several RSOs to bring you a three part event to celebrate this most auspicious holiday.
Our third and last event is a tabling event featuring T-shirts and hongbaos (red envelopes). As the Lunar New Year is a 15 day affair, we’re inviting you to end this wonderful celebration with us! We hope you’ll be able to join us on one of these dates!
