IC CAE Colloquium: Disinformation and Intelligence

Thursday, March 25, 2021 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Central Florida Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence is proud to announce its 2021 Colloquium Event, which will consist of four sessions on Thursday, March 25.

We will begin with a broad overview of the problem of disinformation-its roots, sources and current manifestations-with a focus on the United States. Following this, we will then examine the problem as it affects Spanish-speaking communities within the United States. The focus will then shift to various intelligence and policy efforts to mitigate disinformation campaigns, both foreign and domestic. Finally, the colloquium will close with a virtual poster session in which students-both
undergraduate and graduate-present their intelligence-related research.
