MAE Research Day

Friday, April 9, 2021 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Join the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering for its annual Research Day. We will kick off this year's event with a virtual seminar at 1:30 p.m., and then we'll present our students' research in an online showcase at 2:40 p.m. We'll also host two panels concurrently at 3:50 p.m.:

Career Panel

In this panel we will discuss how to navigate the job search post graduate school during the challenging times of COVID-19. Panelists include Robert Haynes, an aerospace engineer for the Army Aviation and Missile Center; and Jennifer Zenkel, the GNC and aerodynamics section manager at Lockheed Martin in Orlando. Research Panel

In this panel we will discuss the challenges and opportunities that COVID-19 introduced to the academic community. Panelists include Associate Professors Yuanli Bai and Subith Vasu, and Assistant Professor Michael Kinzel. Click here to access the Zoom meeting.
