Twenty-first century patient care continues to increase in complexity. Unfortunately, outpatient Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding has been stuck in the twentieth century, with the last major guideline changes taking place in 1997.
As part of the nationwide commitment to reducing administrative burden, the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) has revised the E/M codes for outpatient visits. During this 30 minute webinar, we will review these revised codes: what’s been removed, what’s changed, and what’s new.
