Respectful Dialogue Discussions, Part 3 - PER240 (Faculty & Staff Only)

Wednesday, March 30, 2022 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Presented by Dr. Jim McCafferty from the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, the Respectful Dialogue Discussions Mini-Series consists of four 45-minute sessions that will assist participants in improving their ability to communicate more effectively with targeted workplace audiences. The topics covered will better equip participants to handle conflict, build on their communications skills, and confront challenging situations with more ease.

The topic for this session is "Managing Conflict with Co-workers." Conflicts happen – but how you handle them can make all the difference. This is especially true when the conflict is between you and a co-worker. It is not simply about winning because you must continue working with them even after you “win.” Attend this session to learn about skills that can help you handle both the conflict and the ongoing relationship.
