Florida Historical Society 2022 Annual Meeting and Symposium

The History Department is hosting this year's Florida Historical Society Annual Meeting and Symposium.

Join us on Oct 21 and 22 in Trevor Colbourn Hall, Room 351 for academic paper presentations and panel discussions from professional historians, graduate students, and others.

There will be brown-bag "lunch & learn" sessions geared towards helping you get the most out of your archival research.

The 10th Annual Jerrell H. Shofner Lecture on Florida History & Culture will also take place. Allison Mitchell will deliver her lecture, "From Protest to Politics: Reconsidering the Impact of The Congress of the Racial Equality's Voter Registration Campaigns in Florida."
