A native of Louisiana, Pierce is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. Her first career was in association management with the Louisiana CPA Society and the Louisiana Registered Nurses Association. After moving to Florida in 1990, she launched her current company, Synergy Project, a marketing and business development firm, which focuses on branding, market positioning, strategy implementation and consultation. Pierce is the executive director of the Orlando chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), having previously served on the board as vice president of marketing.
