Millennials: Racial Identity & Racial Ideology in the 21st Century

A conversation on racial identity and ideology within the millennial generation with Jonathan M. Cox, M.A./M.Ed.

At present, Jonathan is an ABD PhD candidate in sociology at the University of Maryland, College Park. His programmatic substantive areas are social psychology and critical race theory, and most often his work focuses on college students. Some of his current projects include an investigation of the impact of black racial identity on cross-institutional perceptions between black students at HBCUs and PWIs, and collaborations with colleagues looking at methodological applications of social media as an instructive tool and the development of racial identity for non-black students at HBCUs.
