Guest Artist Recital: Yun Ju Pan, percussion

Yun Ju Pan, born in Taiwan, is an inspiring percussionist that has performed in the United States, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia. She holds a Master of Percussion Performance degree from Ithaca College, and a Bachelor of Performance Music Art degree from SoocChow University in Taiwan. Now, she is pursuing her D.M.A. degree at Michigan State University.

Yun Ju Pan is a multiple award-winning musician. She has own third prize in PASIC 2013 Vibraphone Solo Competition and she is the first competitor to win both the first prize and audience's favorite at the same time in the White Lake Solo Competition in 2014. She is also the winner of Michigan State University 2014-15 Concerto Competition and first prize winner of 2015 Taiwan International Percussion Championship. In 2016, she won the second prize of Brownsville Marimba Competition, first prize of all three categories of Taiwan International Percussion Championship (Marimba, Vibraphone, and Chamber ensemble), and the first prize winner of 2016 Australia Marimba Competition.
