SBA Workshop: SBA Resources for Veterans

Tuesday, November 12, 2024 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you in person at the National Entrepreneur Center in Orlando.

Live Basic Event: In celebration of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) National Veteran Small Business Week, this workshop will address the role of the SBA Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD) in maximizing the availability, applicability and usability of small business programs for veterans, service-disabled veterans, reserve component members and their dependents or survivors. OVBD is SBA’s liaison with the military veteran’s business community, providing policy analysis and reporting as well as an Ombudsman for veteran entrepreneurs. OVBD has several programs and services to assist aspiring and existing veteran entrepreneurs such as training, counseling and mentorship, and oversight of federal procurement programs for veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. This workshop will present to you the programs and resources the SBA North Florida District has available for U.S. military veterans. In addition, this event is our way to thank veterans for their service during the SBA National Veterans Month celebration.

This seminar is held at the National Entrepreneur Center located in the Orlando Fashion Square Mall. Click here for a map and directions.
