We can sometimes be over preoccupied with how our body looks but we rarely just sit quietly and experience our body. Experiencing our bodies in a nonjudgmental, attentive way opens us up to acceptance and appreciation for the body itself. The intention is to scan different areas of your body and to focus on that region and experience it, really feel it and then let it go as you move on to another area. By doing this you’re attention stays with the experience rather than the perception of the body.
