AUDITION info:
12:00-12:30- Registration and Warm-up
12:30-1:00- Ballet combo
1:00-1:30- Ballet groups
1:30-2:00- Jazz combo
2:00-2:30- Jazz groups
2:45 Open audition begins (optional)
You must do Ballet and Jazz portions if auditioning; Open audition is optional
The OPEN portion will be at the end of the audition and is optional only to benefit you. For this portion, you may choose to do a solo (no more than 30 seconds) in ONE extra style (Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-hop, Lyrical, etc.) to enhance your audition [you must select to participate in the OPEN audition at registration & provide us with a CD or Ipod/Iphone of the music you choose to use at that time]
Please remember..:
This is a formal Audition with a panel of OUTSIDE judges
**PLEASE wear all Black, fitted-attire (leotard or crop top suggested–You may choose to wear pink tights for Ballet)
Please wear the proper shoes if you have them (Ballet shoes, Jazz shoes & the proper shoes if you choose to do an open solo)
You MUST be a UCF student with a Valid ID
Dance Resume & Headshot recommended
This audition is not for beginner dancers (we are seeking no more than 25 dancers for company)-
If you are a beginner or do not make the cut this time, please consider our general membership where you may still participate in KDDC general member classes (2X a week), KDDC showing & master classes
