Touch-a-Truck

Saturday, February 25, 2017 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fifth annual Touch-a-Truck will put the “pedal to the metal” on Saturday, February 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Knights Plaza at CFE Arena on the campus of UCF. Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, providers of Venue Management at CFE Arena, and UCF Women’s basketball will team up for this free, interactive experience for kids of all ages prior to the UCF Women’s basketball game against SMU at 2 p.m. inside CFE Arena. All kids attending Touch-a-Truck will get a special bookmark granting them and three others free admission to the UCF Women's basketball game.

Touch-a-Truck is a hands-on experience where children will be able to learn about their favorite trucks and vehicles, plus interact with those who drive them. They will be able to climb on the trucks and act as if they were a real truck driver. Featured vehicles at the event will include a fire truck, police vehicles, construction trucks, garbage trucks, as well as others.

This year at Touch-a-Truck there will be a “no honking” hour for children and families who want to experience the event without any loud distractions. The “no honking” hour is from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
