SUMMARY:GPU Programming using OpenACC
URL:https://events.ucf.edu/event/3777820/gpu-programming-using-openacc/
DESCRIPTION:The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center is pleased to present an OpenACC GPU programming workshop.\n\nOpenACC is the accepted standard using compiler directives to allow quick development of GPU capable codes using standard languages and compilers. It has been used with great success to accelerate real applications within very short development periods. This workshop assumes knowledge of either C or Fortran programming. It will have a hands-on component using the Bridges-2 computing platform at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center.\n\nThis will be an IN PERSON event hosted at the UCF satellite site, Research I, Room 101. There WILL NOT be a direct to desktop option for this event.\n\nTentative Agenda \nThe tentative agenda, subject to change, is below. It is designed to be time-zone friendly.\n\n11:00 Welcome \n11:15 Computing Environment \n11:45 Parallel Computing and Accelerators \n12:15 Introduction to OpenACC \n1:00 Lunch break \n2:00 Introduction to OpenACC, con't, and exercises \n4:00 Using OpenACC with CUDA Libraries \n4:15 Advanced OpenACC \n4:45 OpenMP and GPUs \n5:00 Final Notes and Adjourn\n\nRegistration\n\nInterested applicants must first have an ACCESS ID.
