SUMMARY:Adventure Race 2026: Escape Jumanji
URL:https://events.ucf.edu/event/4010262/adventure-race-2026-escape-jumanji/
DESCRIPTION:The game has been activated. \nOnce you step in, the only way out is to play.\n\nFor 24 years, UCF Outdoor Adventure's Adventure Race has challenged teams to think fast, work together, and push beyond their comfort zones. In 2026, the game evolves.\n\nAdventure Race 2026: Escape Jumanji transforms the OA Adventure Race into a campus-wide strategy game inspired by Jumanji, The Amazing Race, and Survivor. Teams of four will navigate UCF's campus, solving riddles and unlocking locations where they'll face a mix of physical, mental, and teamwork-based challenges. Each completed challenge earns points, and how you choose to play matters just as much as how fast you move.\n\nThis is not just a race to the finish. \nTeams must decide:\n\n * How to maximize their points in each challenge\n * How to manage time and energy\n * When to push forward and when to pivot\n\n\n\nSome challenges may test strength and endurance. Others will reward communication, creativity, and problem-solving under pressure. The teams that escape Jumanji won't be the fastest - they'll be the smartest, most strategic players.\n\nHow to win: \nThe team with the highest total points at the end of the game wins. Strategy, adaptability, and teamwork will determine who escapes.\n\nAll participants will receive a free giveaways and be entered to win prizes at the finish. This event is free and open to currently enrolled UCF students.\n\nEvent Details\n\n * Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026\n * Check-In: 8:30-8:50 AM\n * Game Start: 9:00 AM\n * Starting Location: RWC Lake Claire Recreation Area\n * Team Size: 4 UCF Students\n * Cost: Free\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n * Opens: Sunday, February 1 at 12:00 AM\n * Deadline: Thursday, February 20 at 5:00 PM\n * Teams must register in advance.
