94 Dead, 700,000 Homeless, $3.1 Billion in Damage

The entire northwest region of Peru is battling the aftermath of torrential downpours and mudslides. Familes are homeless and are lacking the essentials that we may take for granted.

France, South Korea, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and the Vatican, among others, are pledging to help – you can too.

We, the Peruvian Student Association at UCF (PeruSA UCF), are using the UCF Market Day to raise funds and awareness for this ongoing tragic event. Stop by our tent at any time from 9AM - 5PM to learn more about the club and ways to donate.

-- How do I help? --

1) Visit the tent and donate financially. Any loose change or bills count. Feeling more generous? We'll have the Square Card Reader.

2) Donate canned goods and bottled water. We'll be collecting and later shipping to Peru. Track your donations by following @perusa.ucf on Instagram.

3) Share this event page and invite your friends. Help us spread the word!

4) Become a volunteer! All we need is some of your time. We can always us an extra hand to distribute flyers and handle the table. It is also a great way for you to meet club officers and other fellow Peruvians. If you are interested, click the link below to sign up:

-- Where can I find the table? --

The PerúSA UCF table will be on the stage near the Smoothie King at the South Patio of the UCF Student Union. If you're lost, follow the sounds of the cajones.
