Register for this trip in the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) app or through the UCF RWC Membership Portal website. All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above. 

Pre-Trip Date & Time: Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m.

Trip Description: Float through one of Florida's crown jewels: the crystal-clear, spring-fed Ichetucknee River. This iconic tubing run winds through dense forest canopy and teems with turtles, fish and lush aquatic plants. After a full day on the water, we'll set up camp nearby and spend the evening under the stars. Whether you've done it a dozen times or you're a first-timer, Ichetucknee never gets old. 

What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity, including tubes, camping gear, etc., transportation to/from the activity and professional guidance by Outdoor Adventure Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Meals will be provided on this trip. All menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups will eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your trip leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price. 

What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing (swimsuits, dry fit clothing), appropriate footwear (shoes that fit closely to your feet and can get wet) and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting. 

Tentative Itinerary (time and activities are subject to change): 

Saturday, June 6 

• Arrive at the Outdoor Adventure Center and travel to Fort White, Florida 
• Set up camp and enjoy the evening at Ichetucknee Springs Campground 

Sunday, June 7 

• Launch at Ichetucknee Springs State Park and tube the river 
• Load gear and travel back to UCF 
• Arrive at UCF late afternoon
