DESCRIPTION:Trip Date: Friday, July 17 - Monday, July 20 \n\nTrip Location: Scottsboro, AL \n\nRegistration Opens: Wednesday, July 1 at 12:00 PM \n\nRegistration Closes: Monday, July 13 at 12:00 PM \n\nRegister for this trip in the UCF RWC app or through the [UCF RWC Membership Portal website](https://ucfrwc.org/program). All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open 2 weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above. \n\nPre-Trip Date & Time: Monday, July 13 at 6:00 PM \n\nTrip Description: Trade the Florida flatlands for mountain trails and wild ridges on this multi-day Appalachian Adventure! First, we will head to Tumbling Rock Cave Preserve to explore a magical world under the Earth's surface. We will spend about 5 hours exploring Tumbling Rock Cave, so expect lots of physical exercise, climbing, and navigating a whole new world. Then, we will head to Benton, TN to whitewater raft the famous Ocoee River on Sunday! Expect scenic overlooks, challenging trails, camping under the stars, and great company. This is one of OA's most coveted summer escapes. \n\nWhat's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including camping gear and backpacks), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA Trip Leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Meals will be provided on this trip; all menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups will eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your Trip Leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price. \n\nWhat's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing (including clothing that can get muddy/dirty and a swimsuit), appropriate footwear (hiking boots and water shoes that fit tightly to your feet), and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the Pre-Trip Meeting. \n\nTentative Itinerary (time and activities are subject to change): \n\nFriday, July 17 \n\n  * Arrive at Outdoor Adventure Center and travel to the Tumbling Rock Cave Preserve, AL \n\n\n  * Set up camp and explore the area \n\n\n\nSaturday, July 18 \n\n  * Explore Tumbling Rock Cave Preserve \n\n\n  * Travel to Thunder Rock Campground, TN to camp  \n\n\n\nSunday, July 19 \n\n  * Hike a local trail \n\n\n  * Whitewater raft on the Ocoee \n\n\n  * Camp at Thunder Rock Campground  \n\n\n\nMonday, July 20 \n\n  * Pack up camp and travel back to UCF \n\n\n  * Arrive at UCF late evening \n\n\nRegistration Link: https://ucfrwc.org/program
