Things No One Would See: A Pop-Up Exhibition

Saturday, April 29, 2017 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A Pop-Up exhibition for one night only! We are a group of six students mere months away from completing the Bachelor of Science in Photography program at the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies through the University of Central Florida. As the culmination of the Museum and Gallery Practices class, which we are enrolled in, we have curated an exhibition of our final photography thesis work. Titled ‘Things No One Would See’, it will be held at the Atlantic Center for the Arts’ Harris House in New Smyrna Beach.

The work in the show covers many different subjects, all of which stand apart from each other yet begin to intertwine at points. Some of the subjects could be considered unphotographable: emotions, mental states, mental health, and relics of the past and future. Some works are based in stories- some private, some that few know, and some preexisting stories reimagined.

We invite you to come and see something you haven't seen before, to view things in new light, and to enjoy art for arts’ sake. We invite you to witness the ‘Things No One Would See’.

This event is free and open to the public, featuring live music, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and more.
