DESCRIPTION:This hybrid workshop introduces the built-in accessibility tools available in Webcourses@UCF (Canvas), with a focus on using UDOIT 4.0 to identify and resolve accessibility issues in your courses. Participants will explore the Canvas Accessibility Checker, accessible templates, and student accessibility resources through live demonstrations and guided hands-on activities, leaving with practical strategies to improve course accessibility for all learners.\n\nIn this workshop, you'll learn to: \n\n  * Explain the accessibility tools available within Webcourses@UCF.\n\n  * Use UDOIT 4.0 to identify and prioritize accessibility issues in a Canvas course.\n\n  * Correct common accessibility issues using UDOIT recommendations and the Canvas Accessibility Checker.\n\n  * Apply accessible templates, student accessibility resources, and other built-in Webcourses@UCF tools to improve course accessibility.\n\n  * Develop a plan for incorporating accessibility improvements into their own courses.\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop is limited to faculty, staff and GTA's only. \nRegistration Link: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule/38ac1755/?appointmentTypeIds[]=96418662
