Join the Dixon Career Development Center in collaboration with the University Writing Center for this interactive Writing Lab focused on admission essays for graduate and professional school applications. You will learn strategies for developing a clear, authentic, and compelling essay while exploring ways to effectively communicate their experiences, motivations, and goals. Following a brief presentation, attendees will have dedicated time to begin working on their essays in a supportive environment.

This is a hands-on workshop, so bring your laptop, a draft of your statements (if available), and any brainstorming notes or application prompts. You'll actively work on your essay during the session and receive guidance as you write.
