This workshop is an introductory level course aimed at researchers and students new to databases. You will learn how to explore data stored in databases like Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL, Oracle, and SQLite using SQL. You will gain hands\u002Don experience querying, sorting, formatting, and transforming data. You also will be introduced to various tools such as the Python and R programming languages for accessing and querying databases.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003ELearning outcomes:\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u002D Understand fundamental concepts of relational databases and SQL.\u003Cbr\u003E\u002D Retrieve, filter, and sort data using SQL queries.\u003Cbr\u003E\u002D Transform and format data for analysis and reporting.\u003Cbr\u003E\u002D Access data from a variety of relational database systems.\u003Cbr\u003E\u002D Connect to and query databases using Python and R.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003ETo participate in the hands\u002Don lab during the session, you will need to provide your own computer with a web browser and a reliable internet connection.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EThis event is not being recorded.
