Using SQL, learn how to explore data stored in databases like Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL, Oracle, and SQLite. Through hands-on exercises, you'll practice using SQL to query, sort, format and transform data. You'll also be introduced to tools such as Python and R programming for accessing and querying databases.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand fundamental concepts of relational databases and SQL
• Retrieve, filter and sort data using SQL queries
• Transform and format data for analysis and reporting
• Access data from a variety of relational database systems
• Connect to and query databases using Python and R

What You'll Need:

Bring your own computer with a web browser and reliable internet connection to participate in this hands-on lab.
