DESCRIPTION:This workshop will explore three key pillars of Python development: error handling, user-defined functions, and database programming.  \n  \nFirst, we'll introduce the tools needed to build robust, resilient code through comprehensive error-handling techniques. Participants will learn how to anticipate and manage errors gracefully, ensuring programs run smoothly and remain reliable in the face of unexpected challenges.  \n  \nNext, we'll examine the power of user-defined functions to create modular, reusable code. We'll cover advanced function design, parameter handling and return statements, enabling you to develop efficient, maintainable programs.  \n  \nFinally, the session will cover database programming concepts to show how to access and manage databases using Python. Techniques for connecting to, querying and manipulating databases will be introduced, providing valuable skills applicable to real-world scenarios.  \n  \nBy the end of the session, you'll better understand Python's capabilities, enabling you to develop more sophisticated, error-resistant and scalable programs.  \n  \nYou'll learn how to:\n\n  * Implement effective error-handling strategies in Python.\n  * Create and use user-defined functions for modular programming.\n  * Work with function parameters and return values.\n  * Interact with databases through Python code.\n  * Build more reliable and scalable Python applications.\n\n\n\nTo participate in the hands-on lab during the session, you'll need to provide your own computer with a web browser and a reliable internet connection.  \n  \nThis event is not being recorded.
