	"description": "\u003Cp\u003EOutdoor Adventure is proud to partner with Ranger Rick\u0026rsquo\u003Bs SCUBA Adventure, one of the most experienced scuba dive outfitters, for our entry\u002Dlevel NAUI SCUBA certification course. This course is available to students currently enrolled at UCF.\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003ENote: We are currently working on adding access to our certifications for Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) members, UCF faculty and staff, and Valencia students.\u003C/em\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EUpon successful completion of this course and checkout dives, graduates are considered competent to engage in open\u002Dwater diving activities without supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those encountered during training. No previous scuba experience is required\u003B however, basic swimming skills are necessary to complete the course.\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ECost: \u003C/strong\u003EThe total cost of the certification is $400, with $60 due at registration. The remaining balance is due the first weekend of the certification and is payable to Ranger Rick SCUBA Adventures.\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003EIf you pay by\u0026nbsp\u003Bcard, there is an extra $5 fee, bringing\u0026nbsp\u003Bthe total to $405.\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/em\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESchedule: \u003C/strong\u003ETo receive the scuba certification,\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003Eyou must complete two consecutive weekends of training\u003C/strong\u003E. Participants may request a refund of their deposit or a transfer to another certification month until the Outdoor Adventure Center closes that day. No refunds or transfers will be given after the registration deadline, regardless of the reason. Participants are allowed up to one free transfer\u003B after that, they must pay an additional deposit. Failure to be on time for class sessions, pool sessions and/or dives may result in complete forfeiture of all payments.
